Have been thinking about this for far too long and have finally reached the conclusion that, as with many things, it’s not really possible to wait until you’ve got it all figured out.   So, though I had hoped that I’d begin writing with a clear direction of my goal for this space, I’ve decided to simply begin and see where things go.  Which I’ve discovered, both in matters of cooking and life, can be an advisable – and sometimes surprisingly fortuitous – course of action.

I’d like to write about food, cooking, crafting – both objects and a life with my two daughters – perhaps a little love story tossed in here and there for good measure and pleasing diversion, and maybe a little encouragement for those others out there embarking on a new path from the life they thought was clearly laid out before them.
